Ik ben Pepita David en sinds 1998 houd ik mij onder andere bezig met ongewenste omgangsvormen op het werk. Ik werk als vertrouwenspersoon omdat ik het belangrijk vind dat iedereen kan werken in een sociaal veilige omgeving en dat mensen met respect met elkaar omgaan.
Ik ben extern vertrouwenspersoon en adviseur voor organisaties en bedrijven in de profit- en non-profitsector met betrekking tot beleid en preventie. Ik richt mij vooral op bejegeningzaken en gewenste en ongewenste omgangsvormen.
Naast deze werkzaamheden ben ik psychotherapeut BIG. Ik begeleid/coach mensen met diverse problemen zoals overspannenheid, balans werk/privé en post traumatische stress na een schokkende gebeurtenis.

Adviespraktijk David & van Wezel heeft een eigen praktijkadres in Amsterdam Watergraafsmeer en werkt zowel in het Nederlands als Engels. Hieronder volgt voor Engelstalige klanten de uitleg van de vertrouwenspersoon.

The confidential advisor:

Points of Departure:
- The confidential advisor is there primarily for the person complaining.
- The confidential advisor will not undertake any action without the permission of the person who has appealed to her.
- The confidential advisor will respect the anonymity of the complainant and the complaint will be treated confidentially.
- Respecting privacy is a part of a confidential advisor's job; accordingly, a confidant enjoys the privilege of professional confidentiality.

Duties
The duties of the confidential advisor are:
- to provide the first ‘port of call’, guidance, and advice to anyone making a complaint;
- to discuss all the possible solutions, either formal or informal, with the complainant;
- to assist the complainant in compiling a written complaint, should the complainant wish to submit the complaint to the Complaints Committee, and to ensure support during the complaints procedure;
- to offer follow-up support after the complaint has been resolved and to ensure that, once the complaint has been resolved, the complainant does not experience any disadvantageous consequences as a result of having submitted the complaint;
- to maintain an anonymous register of the number of consultations, the number of complaints, and the outcome of the complaints. Annually, the external confidant will report these results to the Board of Directors. During the registration and the reporting process individual, privacy will be guaranteed.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the external confidential advisor are:
- to give advice, both requested and unrequested, to the Directors;
- to distribute information (both verbally and in writing) regarding undesirable behavior ;
- to register all the complaints reported, in a register to which only she has access;
- to advance her level of professionalism; by being willing to follow educational and training courses.
